About Yejeon Korean Restaurant Mataram

Let me introduce you to Yejeon Korean Restaurant Mataram, a cozy Korean restaurant that brings familiar Korean flavors into the heart of the city in a way that feels both approachable and satisfying. Located on Jl. Pejanggik No.47 in the Pejanggik area of Cakranegara, this spot is easy to reach and fits naturally into the local food scene. From the moment you step in, the Korean restaurant vibe is clear, not in an over-the-top way, but through simple details, comforting aromas, and a menu that focuses on what people actually crave when they think about Korean food. I usually describe Yejeon as a place that works for many moods, because it’s just as suitable for a relaxed dine-in experience as it is for a quick takeaway when you’re short on time. They also offer delivery and no-contact delivery, which makes it convenient if you’d rather enjoy Korean food at home without any hassle. One thing I appreciate is how the offerings feel thoughtfully chosen, with halal food options that make it welcoming to a wider audience, along with quick bites that are perfect for lunch breaks or casual meet-ups. Coffee is also available, which adds to the laid-back feel and makes the space comfortable for lingering conversations or a short rest between errands. What stands out about Yejeon Korean Restaurant Mataram is how it balances speed and comfort, since you don’t feel rushed, yet the service flows smoothly. Whether you’re already a fan of Korean cuisine or simply curious to try something different without leaving Mataram, this restaurant feels like an easy entry point. It blends everyday practicality with the warmth of Korean-inspired dining, making it a spot people tend to come back to naturally.

If guests take a bit to check the menu, please cut them some slack—it’s our first time here, so it’s normal, right? The guy looked a bit annoyed, but I get it, waiting isn’t fun. Can’t just order randomly though Overall, the food hits my taste—meat’s good, not too chewy. Totally worth a try

I ordered and was very late to get my food. As always indonesian people are so nice. They waited for me to get it, although it was my fault. This restaurant is sooo good I go there when I can. Looks like real korean food. Prices are very gentle. Best place in lombok to eat

Came here together with my huge family because we're so curious about Korean cuisine. I thought lot of menus were pretty good taste. I really enjoyed them. But I didn't like raddish pickle and kimchi because the taste was very sour. The sundubu jjigae was always my favorite and made me so fell in love but the taste for me was too spicy so I can't enjoy the soup. Comfortable place also very clean. Friendly staff and good service.

Visiting this restaurant was one of my wishes since I really longed for my favorite Korean restaurant in Surabaya. The ambiance was quiet. They have many decorations that I believe have been imported straight from Korea, such as dolls with traditional Korean clothing, paintings, and calligraphy. They also have two seating options: chairs downstairs and floor seating upstairs (we opted for the second one). I brought my sisters and daughter and told them to share our food because I understand that Korean cuisine always comes in huge sizes. Therefore, we ordered rappokki + mozzarella cheese (IDR55,000 + IDR10,000), jjajangmyeon (IDR55,000), beef kimbap (IDR45,000), boneless Korean chicken rice bowl (IDR42,000) for one of my sisters, kids menu jjajangmyeon (IDR42,000) for my daughter, blended cookies and cream (IDR32,000), ttalgi uyu or Korean strawberry milk (IDR25,000), banana uyu or Korean banana milk (IDR25,000), orange squash (IDR27,000), four bottles of cold mineral water (IDR40,000), and strawberry sundae and tiramisu latte cheesecakes (IDR38,000 each) for takeaway. These prices haven't been added by 15% of tax and service. The banana uyu immediately became my favorite since it really tasted like banana milk, while my daughter didn't seem to enjoy her ttalgi uyu, probably it was too sweet for her liking. One of my sisters, who was initially confused about what to drink, really liked her orange squash. The default rappokki on the menu didn't have mozzarella, so we asked the waiter to add it as an add-on. The ramyeon on the rappokki was well-cooked, yet the tteok was a bit too overcooked for my liking (I like super chewy tteok that was not cooked for too long). And, unfortunately, they didn't add any toppings on it, like carrots, onions, or boiled egg (like my favorite cafe in Surabaya did), only several chops of leeks and odeng (fish cake). But the gochujang sauce and cheese fixed everything. Next, the jjajangmyeon was chewy and I really liked it, yet the taste of the jjajang (black bean) sauce was a bit off for me (ooonly a bit, not too much). However, they put a generous amount of meat and vegetables (like potatoes and cabbage) on it, so it was a plus. The default jjajangmyeon should have come with danmuji (yellow pickled radish), but the waiter forgot until I asked about it. Make sure you ask about the danmuji if you order this. Then, the kimbap had many fillings, such as bulgogi, danmuji, cucumber, and sauteed carrot and spinach. It was super tasty to eat with the rappokki sauce. Next, the boneless chicken on the rice bowl tasted amazing, which made me question myself why I didn't order it in the first place. Then, my daughter really enjoyed her kid's menu, though what she ordered was similar to mine (only in a smaller size). She finished the noodles along with all her side dishes (boneless honey chicken, gyeran-mari (rolled omelet), and jelly), which surprised me (she is a picky eater, so when she finished her meal, it is such a good sign for the meal's taste). I tried her honey chicken and started to feel guilty for not ordering it. Overall, I liked all the things I ordered that night, and I might visit this place again to try their desserts (I got curious about their gimmari, pajeon, and hotteok) and boneless chicken.

All the food was soo delicious and filling at a very affordable price. Beef Kimbab was a perfect choice. The cheesecake is one of the best I’ve had in my life - so, so creamy! The staff is very friendly and the design is cosy. I highly recommend!

One and only authentic Korean cuisine restaurant in town! The owners are korean so they're surely know the authenticity of the foods. I always enjoying my time in YeJeon, not only because of the foods but also the music playlists there. And the most important thing, YeJeon confirm all the menus are halal.

This was my second time visiting, and I ordered the Dakgalbi Dosirak. It suited my rather picky taste perfectly. The Eomuk Tang was also flavorful, with a well-balanced and comforting taste. The Goguma dessert was delicious—I’d definitely order it again. As for the drink, the lemon squash was just average.
